Our office manager, Helen, swapped her desk for the river last weekend, competing in the Nottingham Autumn Head alongside her 15-year-old son, Alfie.
Both Helen and her son delivered outstanding performances, each winning their individual races and taking first place in their events while proudly representing Derby Rowing Club.
The Nottingham Autumn Head, organised by Nottingham Rowing Club, attracts rowers from across the region for a day of competitive racing and team spirit. The races cover both long, middle and short distances, allowing athletes of all ages and abilities the opportunity to compete.
We’re incredibly proud of Helen and her son for their dedication, determination and success – a fantastic achievement and a true reflection of their commitment both on and off the water.
