On Saturday 14th March, our Office Manager, Helen, took on the challenge of the Women’s Eights Head of the River Race (WEHoRR) in London, rowing with Derby Rowing Club.
Held on the River Thames, the WEHoRR is one of the largest women’s rowing events in the world. Crews race over a 6.8km course along the Tideway, with hundreds of teams competing in a time-trial format.
Starting in 309th position, Helen and her crew delivered an impressive performance, powering through the course, gaining 48 places to finish 261st overall.
