At Oviso, we’re passionate about supporting new talent. Elan joined us over a year ago as part of her work experience while studying Marketing at Derby University, and she’s become a great addition to the team. Alongside her admin role, she manages our Instagram page and supports marketing projects.
To help you get to know Elan, we fired a few fun questions her way!
Yes – I visited The Colosseum in Rome back in 2016. It was incredible to walk through such an iconic landmark and picture what life must have been like when it was full of crowds. The scale and history of it were truly amazing.
Anything by Amy Winehouse – though as a singer, people say it’s not as fun going to karaoke with me!
One Direction at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester in 2014 – I was a huge 1D fan!
Yes, I met Tom Grennan at a BBC Introducing event in London where he performed a surprise set.
I have a Black Labrador called Bella – she’s super energetic and could play frisbee for hours.
I went paragliding in Aruba – it was amazing, especially spotting turtles swimming below!
Yes – I took part in the Memory Walk for Alzheimer’s Society in 2018. It was such a meaningful experience to walk alongside so many others supporting the cause, and it felt great to contribute to raising awareness and funds for a charity that makes such a difference.
Definitely netball and horse riding! I used to play netball regularly and loved being part of a team – it’s such a fun and competitive sport. Horse riding has always been a passion too; it gave me a real mix of relaxation and excitement all at once. I haven’t done either in a few years, but I’d love to pick them both back up again.
